Zootown Unveils 2027 Lineup Led by Jack Johnson and Brandi Carlile

Missoula's Zootown Music Festival has announced its musician lineup for 2027, with Jack Johnson and Brandi Carlile topping a bill that returns to the Missoula County Fairgrounds on June 18 and 19. Presale tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., with general sales starting at noon.

A headline bill with a mix of established and regional acts

Johnson and Carlile anchor the festival, which is now in its third annual edition. Johnson, a longtime acoustic performer whose work blends pop, folk and surf rock, is making his first appearance in Montana. Carlile, by contrast, has a local history: she was the first act to perform at the Kettlehouse Amphitheater in Bonner in July 2021, after pandemic-related delays had postponed shows there.

Supporting the headliners are Caamp, Alabama Shakes, Sierra Ferrell, Whiskey Myers, Courtney Barnett and Kitchen Dwellers, along with additional acts. Several of these musicians have previously played in Montana or Missoula. Kitchen Dwellers, a band from Bozeman, is among them.

Ticketing and logistics

Fans planning to attend should note the two-stage sale schedule. Presale tickets become available Friday at 10 a.m., and the general sale opens at noon the same day. The festival is again being held at the Missoula County Fairgrounds, so the venue remains unchanged from previous years.

What the announcement does and does not settle

The lineup announcement confirms the performers and dates, but the reporting available here does not include pricing details, daily set schedules or the full list of additional acts beyond those named. Organizers and ticket outlets will supply those specifics as the sale proceeds.
