Narrative Workshop: How to Tell a Story...One After the Other (Thursdays) / Spring 2010
Write for Story in Fiction or Non-Fiction
How do you tell the story? Whether fiction or truth, where do you begin? What parts should you tell, what do you hold back? This workshop will focus on moving through the narrative of your tales, and how to use the elements of your writing to move the story forward. We'll locate the emotional core of your stories to transform anecdotes and scenes into stronger tales. Along the way we'll take in stories by the professionals: short fiction authors, essayists and comedians.

Time: Thursdays, 10-weeks, 5-7pm, April 15 – June 17
