Creative Non-Fiction Workshop (Mondays) / Spring 2010
Writing About People We Admire
Learn to write creative nonfiction using models by Kelly Cherry, Raymond Carver, Ian Frazer, Gabriel García Márquez and others. Guided discussions on technique; written exercises; assigned nonfiction for study; informal in-class critique of student work; mutual support and encouragement. Students submit two short works and one revision.

Time: Mondays, 10-weeks, 6:30-9:30pm, April 5 - June 7
Location: Instructor’s apartment near east end of the Broadway Bridge
