Attic Atheneum: Cost
An affordable alternative that is unique and essential.
Where most low-residency MFAs cost $10,000-12,000 per year, the Attic Atheneum's unique 11-month format with 2-1 student to instructor ratio is a more affordable but no less focused alternative.
Nomination/Application Fee: $0. There is no cost to nominate yourself for the Atheneum.
Program Fee: The cost for the program paid in full is $2,970, including $400 deposit ($200 non-refundable).
We do offer admitted students three payment plans. Multi-payment plans include an administrative fee.
Payment Plans: The payment plans include a one-time $400 deposit ($200 of which is non-refundable). There are no refunds for payment following the beginning of the Atheneum.
Full payment in advance: Following the deposit, the student pays $2,570. This payment is due July 1.
Two-payments plan: Following the deposit, the student makes two payments of $1,360 each. The first payment is due July 1; the second payment is due November 1.
Three-payments plan: Following the deposit, the student makes three payments of $957 each. The first payment is due July 1; the second payment is due November 1; the third payment is due February 1.
